I think it is always nice to see the face behind a business and I was recently privileged to be interviewed by Susie Cunningham to be featured in our local Beaudesert Bulletin newspaper.
It was fun to be interviewed and some of Susie's questions made me think about aspects of my life so far.
I've loved sewing since I was 10 years old and this has lead to one of my current businesses, teaching people of all ages to sew. And this came about after closing our bricks and mortar sewing shop in Beaudesert in 2011.
It's amusing, upon reflection, how one sentence uttered by a sewing student after we moved to The Old Laravale School then lead to creating a dedicated venue for sewing and craft retreats in a farmhouse that we relocated to Laravale and lovingly renovated.
I guess I like being busy ...
